The center provides residential treatment for substance abuse for men age 18 and 60.
Applicants must be three to five days sober, drug-free, and willing and able to participate in the program fully, which includes mandatory participation in twelve-step and spiritual program meetings.
The center cannot accept men who have physical or mental disabilities or who receive GR or any type of government funding.
There are no geographic restrictions.
This is a 6-month to 12-month program which includes:
work therapy individual and group counseling twelve-step meetings spiritual guidance chemical dependency education anger management relapse preventionand recreational activitiesParticipants must remain free of alcohol and drugs.
Nicotine use is restricted.
Supportive services include medical care as needed.
Residents are housed in rooms which contain three to four beds and receive three meals per day plus snacks and all the clothing that they may need.
Work therapy includes an assessment of work skills and assignments to the Salvation Army's operations.
Spiritual guidance is mandatory and includes chapel services, Bible classes, and morning devotions.
Recreational activities include use of the center's library, softball, bowling, and participation in community social events.

The center requires that applicants present picture identification or a DMV I.D.card, and a social security card at a face to face interview.
FEES/PAYMENT SOURCEThere are no fees for services.
Residents who are eligible to receive CalFresh contribute the CalFresh to the program.
