Arapahoe House is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to providing a continuum of accessible, affordable, and effective services fro individuals and families affected by alcohol or drug abuse problems, or other behavioral health disorders.
Over the past 35 years, Arapahoe House has been a champion for families and individuals with alcohol, drug and other behavioral health issues.
They have help people in their community, their friends, neighbors, siblings, parents and children, find recovery.
Today, they help more than 15,000 members of their community find help, hope and healing from addiction every year.
Arapahoe House was established in 1975 as a non-medical, detoxification facility.
The Arapahoe County League of Women Voters was instrumental in its formation, with initial funding derived from the Colorado Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division and Arapahoe County.
Arapahoe House has a national reputation for innovative and effective treatment programs including residential, outpatient, detoxification and DUI services.
Arapahoe House has 13 locations and more than 20 specialized services for individuals and families serving the five-county metro Denver area:
