About CURA Incorporated Residential Treatment Program

A state-licensed, long-term co-ed residential therapeutic community for the treatment of chemical dependency.
Each individual requesting admission to the program is asked for a minimum commitment of one year.
Applicants must be detoxed a minimum of 48 hours before entering the program.
Utilizes a carefully structured schedule involving a candidate phase, 3 treatment phases, and a voluntary aftercare program.
Each phase involves specific goals and expectations.
No drugs are used in treatment.
Open to Proposition 36 referrals, and Sasca-eligible participants (parolees).
Provides Drug Court services.
Facility is in Fremont and has 51 beds, of which 22 are utilized by Alameda County Behavioral Health Care Services for the indigent.
Individual treatment plans can include individual and group counseling, vocational counseling, health screening, education, computer literacy training, and assistance with employment-related problems.
Classes in high school and college preparation (GED) are provided on-site.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2023

This table is to be used if this rehab center accepts sliding scale treatment. This will show you what levels of income you need to make to qualify for free treatment.

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get legal aid from some offices, they use a sliding fee scale. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
