Service Description
The goal of each activity is to facilitate recovery and resiliency from mental illness.
Attending the Drop-In Center relieves feelings of isolation, increases self-esteem and instills feelings of dignity.
The ultimate goal of the Drop-In Center is to reduce the number of psychiatric hospitalizations.
Outreach services, which encourage, educate and engage people to work on their recovery and to become more resilient are performed by Peer Specialists.
Older adults and their caretakers who are unaware of available resources in the community are given that information along with follow-up and support.
