Seeking help for a friend who has long been struggling with PTSD & alcoholism. Several years sober, they began drinking again this year and have been in life threatening states several times over the past year. They’ve woken up earlier this week desperately wanting to get sober abd serious about finally addressing the underlying trauma. They tried to check themselves into University Behavioral but were turned away, presumably because they are currently lucid. They need medical management (preferably outpatient) to safely detox and assistance finding ongoing individual trauma therapy. No insurance, can likely afford sliding scale therapy but we have yet to find detox at anything resembling an affordable cost. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, ~k
