New Direction Institute is a mental health and dual diagnosis facility providing:
mental health and dual diagnosis day treatment outpatient counseling confidential HIV testing, HIV+ mental health counseling education and support food/clothing pantry adolescent counseling family counseling and parenting education/counseling/support groups Services are addressed mainly to those having dual diagnosis and HIV/AIDS issues from high risk, low income families.
Services are Not for substance abuse issues unless the person has a dual diagnosis.
Provides services to address substance abuse and HIV/AIDS issues to high risk adults/ low income families.
This includes education, testing and post counseling services
Mission Statement: To help people with mood disorders and their families move forward in their lives. We write newspaper articles to help educate the public and combat stigma.
