A mental health comprehensive day treatment program serving youth 5-22 years old (based on school enrollment) who are struggling to function in the regular academic setting, home environment and the community due to mental health challenges.
It is designed to meet the needs of individuals who require an intensive therapeutic environment in order for positive emotional and behavioral changes to occur.
Services included:
individual, family, and group therapy academic instruction behavior management and training skills building psychological and psychiatric evaluation and treatment Designed to meet the needs of youth who require an intensive therapeutic setting in order for positive emotional change to occur.
The Child/Adolescent Comprehensive Treatment Program provides comprehensive treatment services to youth ages 6 though 22 who experience either severe emotional disturbance, are emotionally handicapped, or who have not yet received such eligibility but have an Axis I psychiatric diagnosis such as Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, a thought disorder, or a behavioral disorder.
Programming includes academic services provided by qualified teachers utilizing an accredited educational program.
Students enrolled in the comprehensive treatment program are able to maintain and accrue their academic credits while receiving the support and clinical services necessary to be successful.
This program is sponsored by the State of Florida, Department of Children and Families, and the Broward County Childrens Services Board.
