River Edge Project Connect
An outreach, case management, and day treatment program serving the special needs of women with substance abuse problems who have children. Includes coordinating meeting women's needs with community agencies, families, and other resources. They set up and provide transportation and treatment five days per week. Day care is also provided through the Department of family and Children Services. Project Connect staff make home visits, provide transportation to day treatment activities 5 days per week from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. Hot lunches are included. Activities include daily meditation, 12-step study groups and group therapy.
