About Salvation Army Addiction Treatment Waokanaka Honolulu

Provides a continuum of substance abuse treatment services including:

  • social model detoxification
  • residential treatment
  • day treatment
  • intensive outpatient treatment and outpatient services

Treatment focus is cognitive with strong relapse prevention emphasis.

Services included: 

  • individual and group counseling
  • case management
  • education and skill-building
  • family education
  • vocational services and resocialization activities

Requires participation in Alcoholics Anonymous,

Narcotics Anonymous, or other support groups.

Duration of treatment is variable depending upon individual need and funding source.

Duration of program varies from one day to three months.

Must be 18 years or older for treatment.

Fees vary depending on ability to pay.

Services include:

  • alcohol detoxification
  • alcoholism day treatment
  • drug day treatment
  • inpatient alcoholism treatment
  • outpatient drug detoxification
  • residential drug abuse treatment

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.

These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get legal aid from some offices, they use a sliding fee scale. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
