Prevention efforts include:
education on the diseaseresearchinformation on where to obtain community resourcesand conferencesCare for clients includes linkage to or provision of services including testing, harm reduction drug programs, case management, and housing including obtaining housing and the provision of rental assistance.
Engages in advocacy efforts including encouraging individuals to get involved.
The Foundation collaborates with and provides financial and technical assistance to organizations that provide services to patients with HIV/AIDS.

The AIDS Foundation of Chicago mobilizes communities to create equity and justice for people living with and vulnerable to HIV and related chronic diseases.
