Information and referral is available to programs available both within and outside the Catholic Charities network of services.
A sampling of referred to services include:
emergency assistance funds benefits screenings community casework and counseling addiction counseling family shelter and housing programsAdditionally this location serves a as the centralized location for some of the Catholic Charities programs related to emergency and homeless services, counseling, and healthcare.
Emergency services provided included:
intake for emergency shelter emergency financial assistance referral advocacy food pantry clothing short-term case management benefits screeningOperate nutrition programs including Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) Nutrition Services for the Elderly; Women, Infants and Children (WIC); and Mother and Child Food and Nutrition Program (MAC) Food for Growth.
Also coordinates the catholic charities earn fare and food stamp employment training program.
Dinner programs are offered for hungry and/or homeless persons.
At this location dinner is served every Tuesday at 5:30PM to the first 130 persons.
In addition to receiving a meal, outreach workers offer case management and housing services.
The Holbrook Center offers counseling for individuals, couples, and families with emotional, behavioral and relationship or family problems, and marital or pre-marital problems.
The Center also provides psycho-educational groups, classes and presentations, pre-marital compatibility assessment, crisis/trauma de-briefing to community agencies and businesses, professional mediation, and organizational consultation to other agencies, parishes, and businesses.
The Immunization Linkage Program provides comprehensive screening and assessment of the immunization coverage levels of low-income infants and children up to age two.
Catholic Charities also produces a variety of publications including Keenager News and Spirit magazine.
