In the post-Katrina era of rebuilding New Orleans and much of the Gulf Coast, OHL has expanded its historical mission, as well as its staff and services to bring much-needed aid to the community.
The broader vision and scope of OHL's work now encompasses:
Personal and family recovery.Transitional housing and supportive services for low-income and chronically homeless individuals and families living with HIV/AIDs.Job training, mentoring and other services to prepare non-violent ex-offenders for new lives as productive workers.
