St. Francis Foundation is a secondary care facility offering extended residential treatment to a mixed population of 15 men and women in recovery.
Completion of the program takes seven to nine months and includes counseling and treatment by trained staff.
While in the program, clients work and/or go to school, pay their way and take care of their responsibilities by doing their share of chores and attend 12 step meetings.
Aftercare is available for former clients who qualify.
St. Francis Foundation offers a home-like atmosphere for those who do not have a stable setting to return to upon completion of primary treatment.
Clients must be at least 18 years of age, have successfully completed an appropriate primary treatment program and have a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency or substance abuse.
