Phoenix House Dorchester Center is a long-term residential family substance abuse treatment facility for women and their children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents.
In a warm and safe environment that feels like home, the program provides substance abuse treatment that is woman-centered and trauma-informed, with a goal of successful family reunification.
Their skilled professional staff is dedicated to helping women overcome substance dependence and empowering them to achieve productive, drug-free lives.
The Center also provides referrals to social service agencies throughout the Boston area to assist clients with childcare, afterschool programs, and treatment for co-occurring mental health needs.
They are located on the campus of St. Marys Women and Childrens Center, a community-based, multiservice agency that provides support services, including education and job training, to adult women as well as pregnant and parenting teens.
St. Marys Campus is also home to Phoenix Families, their highly successful emergency shelter and re-housing program for mothers and children.
