Communities Helping Adolescents Mature Positively and Successfully - CHAMPS- a youth mentoring program for at-risk school age youth in Perry County.
Offers Seeking Answers (SA) support group for teen alcohol and substance abuse issues:
SA (age 16-21) & SAAS (Seeking Answers About Substances) for age 12-15. Youth and Parents - YAP - program for ages 5-21 to build communication skills. Also provides life skills training for 8th & 9th graders, 8th grade prevention conference, Junior/Senior Conference, and Out of School Program for youth up to age 25 who have dropped out of school.
Mission Statement: Develop a monitored plan of action, and facilitate the implementation of various strategies for a healthy and safe community.
