Phoenix House Academy at Dublin, located in a serene country setting, provides intensive substance abuse treatment and education to adolescents ages 13 to 18.
The Academys three- to six-month program offers each resident a wide range of services, including:
individual, group, and family therapy training in sober living skills and sustaining recoverydrug and alcohol educationand positive and healthy recreational activitiesCounselors and residents work together to create personal treatment plans that match solutions to the specific needs of the client and his family.
Because successful recovery requires the involvement and support of each residents family, individual and group family sessions are integral components of treatment.
Their academic program, overseen by state-certified teachers, provides each student with individualized academic instructiona critical factor in sustained adolescent recovery.
This program is funded by the NH DHHS Division of Community Based Care Services, Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Services.
