Multiple programs share the Phoenix House location on Manhattans Upper West Side:
Their Riverside Community Residence provides short-term residential treatment for men and women. The Residence serves Phoenix House clients who have completed a significant stay at one of their residential programs, but are not yet prepared for independent living. They also admit referrals from other community-based organizations. Their Outpatient Program provides men and women with clinical services that promote personal growth and prevent relapse. Clients who need more intensive care are referred to one of Phoenix Houses residential programs or a more appropriate treatment provider. Clients receive a thorough assessment and a customized treatment plan. For more than 30 years, Phoenix House IMPACT Program (Intervention Moves Parents and Children Together) has helped thousands of adolescents reclaim their lives. Their outpatient after-school treatment programs provide group and individual therapy as well as positive social activities for young people struggling with substance misuse. They conduct in-depth evaluations of each teens needs and develop individualized treatment plans that address their personal goals. Parent participation is encouraged.
