Phoenix House Academy of Maine provides long-term residential substance abuse treatment for male and female adolescents ages 13 to 18.
Residents receive individual, group, and family therapy and work with their counselors to establish a treatment plan that addresses their individual needs.
Because successful recovery requires the involvement and support of each residents family, individual and group family sessions are integral components of treatment.
The Academys high school education program, administered in partnership with the Maranacook School District, provides each student with customized academic instruction in accredited courses.
In addition, their Recovery Management Coordinator works with Academy alumni to provide support, case management, and recovery advocacy
