Santa Maria has over 50 years of experience serving women in crisis, and continually responding to the emerging needs of the community they serve.
In 1990, their substance abuse treatment program for women was initiated.
By 1995, they were recognized as one of Texas' best-managed centers for the treatment and care of addicted women and their children.
They are proud to have the distinction of being the largest treatment center in Texas and, through your support, will continue to respond to the evolving needs of the women and children they serve.
They feature two residential facilities capable of providing a home-like environment for women alone and with their children while in treatment for addiction.
Provides transitional housing with support services including life skills, job partnership training, drug counseling, outreach services,
Alcoholics Anonymous groups, and peer support groups.
Also provides transportation if needed, and there is a bus route and location of a bus stop near.
Eligibility:
Must be employed and have completed a 90-day treatment program; Minimum age 18Fees:
$80 fee to live in shelter, with all bills paidIntake procedure:
